As the Malayalam Film Industry is rocked by mounting cases of sexual abuse and the Hema Committee panel exposes how rampant this has been for years, Dr Sujata, who went by the screen name Sowmya in the 90s has revealed how a Tamil Director, whose wife is a well known actor according to her, repeatedly assaulted her when she was 18, raped her and "groomed her to be a sex slave". Horrific details like him using rods in her private party have been revealed by Sujata/Sowmya who says she plans to take up the issue with the TN Police.
