On June 2nd a massive railway accident involving three trains unfolded in the town of Balasore in Odisha. The Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express and the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Expres alongside a goods train met with a three-way accident resulting in massive derailment and subsequent carnage. Almost 288 lives lost, and close to 900 injured.
