Daughter Commissioned into India Army 20 Years After Father Fell in J&K.

20 years after their father Major Navneet Vats fell in the line of duty in J&K, his daughter Lieutenant Inayat Vats joined the Indian Army. After training at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai, she was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Military Intelligence Corps. At the passing out parade, she proudly wore her late father's olive green uniform.
