Defence Minster Rajnath Singh Visits Siachen

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited a forward post at Siachen to assess the security situation on the ground. He was accompanied by Army Chief Manoj Pande and other senior Indian Army officers. He surveyed the territory and interacted with the soldiers there, who lived in some of the most demanding and terrifying conditions. He praised the brave soldiers and their 'iron-clad will' to serve the country and said the country will always be indebted to all the soldiers.
