Mimi Chakraborty Resigns as MP

In an unexpected development today, Mimi Chakraborty, TMC member and Lok Sabha MP has hsnded in her resignation to Mamata Banerjee, TMC Chairperson. She used to represent Jadavpur in West Bengal, but she's decided to focus on both acting and politics. Banerjee hasn't signed off on the resignation yet, and the official paperwork hasn't made its way to the Lok Sabha Speaker.
