It seems like the Vietnamese were the early birds at the Gold Rush! This swanky five-star hotel is all about the bling, with gold-plated tubs, sinks, and yes, even toilets. And get this: they've got a rooftop infinity pool decked out with 24-karat gold tiles. It's smack dab near Giang Vo Lake, just a quick 10-minute hop from Hanoi's downtown. Compared to the nearby Soviet-style buildings, it's a whole different universe. According to Nguyen Huu Duong, the big cheese at Hoa Binh Group, they've used about a ton of gold (1000 Kilos) all over the place.
