Avani Lekhara defended her gold medal in the Women’s 10m air rifle final (SH1) at the Paris Paralympics, breaking her own Paralympic record with a score of 249.7. India secured two medals on the second day of the Games. Avani, paralyzed from the waist down, became India's first female Paralympic shooting medalist at Tokyo 2021.
