'The Supreme Court has granted interim protection from arrest to podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia in relation to multiple FIRs filed against him for his controversial remarks on the YouTube show India’s Got Latent. The Court strongly condemned Allahbadia's comments, stating, "There is something dirty in this person’s mind that has been spread through this program… The words you have chosen, parents will be ashamed, sisters will be ashamed. The entire society will feel ashamed." Allahbadia is being represented by Abhinav Chandrachud, a lawyer at the Bombay High Court and the son of former Chief Justice of India, DY Chandrachud.
